“I was really happy with the way I raced at Silverstone this weekend. Race one saw some rain which made it a level playing field and put an emphasis on the driver, so I was really encouraged that I made the most progress through the field.
“Obviously qualifying didn’t go to plan this weekend and we have already talked as to why it didn’t really happen for us there as a team. We have to hope this was just an anomaly and that we come back stronger.
“We now move on to the next race at Monza and we just need ensure the hard work continues and the improvement from the car comes in qualifying, so we can be further towards the front from the very start and help ourselves to be in the best position to race as possible.”
